Internships
With its internships, the SPIEZ LABORATORY offers young scientists the opportunity to consolidate and improve their existing knowledge and skills. As a general rule, an internship can be carried out in any of the fields in which the SPIEZ LABORATORY is actively involved: physics, biology and chemistry in particular, but also engineering sciences in relation to the development and testing of NBC protective technologies. More detailed information on individual fields can be found under "Topics".
A central objective of these internships is to allow young scientists to put the theory they learnt in the classroom into practice, as well as boost their future career opportunities.
The SPIEZ LABORATORY offers two types of internship: either in conjunction with studies or after study completion. Potential candidates are undergraduates, diploma holders, graduates and doctoral students.
The SPIEZ LABORATORY works together with the following partner institutions: the Federal Institutes of Technology (ETH), as well as traditional universities and universities of applied sciences both at home and abroad.
The conditions of employment are agreed on a case-by-case basis and generally follow Swiss Federal Administration regulations.
