Testing chemical detectors and analytical instruments
SPIEZ LABORATORY offers testing of chemical detectors and analytical instruments with chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial chemicals (TICs). The parameters for the three test stands are the following:
- Chemical warfare agents in air
- Nerve: Tabun (GA), Sarin (GB), Soman (GD), VX
- Blister: Sulfur Mustard (HD), Lewisite (L1)
- Concentrations: Nerve 20-500µg/m3, blister 50-2000µg/m3, max. deviation ±10% - TICs in air
- non corrosive liquids with a boiling point above 25°C at ambient pressure
- Concentrations: 20-10'000µg/m3, max. deviation ±10%
Humidity
20-80% relative humidity, max. deviation ±1% Options for higher concentrations at lower humidities and higher humidities at lower concentrations, respectively
Temperature, pressure
Ambient temperature (20°C nominal) and ambient pressure
On the test stands, parameters can be altered accurately within seconds. Furthermore, chemical agent mixtures can be generated and interferent chemicals added.
