Administration
The Personnel & Administration department assists the specialist divisions of the SPIEZ LABORATORY by providing the following services:
- Secretariat
Dealing with correspondence in German, French and English. Copy-editing and formatting of documents, laboratory reports, laboratory notes and publications. - Travel management
Planning, budgeting and organising business trips for SPIEZ LABORATORY staff. Preparing travel documents, organising visas, visit requests and clearances with the relevant authorities. Checking and settling expenses submitted by staff on their return. - Quality management
Managing, editing and adapting regulations and directives for SPIEZ LABORATORY accredited test centres. - Incoming and outgoing mail
Handling daily incoming and outgoing mail, as well as the management of the business contacts’ and addresses database. - Filing / Archives
Filing and archiving of documents. - Personnel
Handling various personnel activities: from recruitment to staff departures. - Basic and advanced staff training
Planning and organising basic and advanced staff training activities. - Secretariat of the National NBC Protection and Coordination Office
Administrative support of the National NBC Protection and Coordination Office (management of address databank; managing the diary; filing of documents; organising meetings; dealing with projects; looking after the Internet/Intranet of the Federal Commission for NBC Protection, as well as the Cantons coordination platform; general correspondence and secretarial work)
