Site Services are responsible for the upkeep of the infrastructure of the NC Centre Spiez, which in addition to the SPIEZ LABORATORY, includes the NC training site, a large general purpose room and outdoor sports facilities. Site Services also ensure that all technical and electrical systems function reliably.
Main tasks :
- Maintenance of the power and utilities’ supplies, as well as the telephone, communications and systems.
- Maintenance and cleaning of both indoor and outdoor facilities.
- General housekeeping duties, including accommodation and seminar rooms.
- Porter, security, and lock-and-key services.
- Structural maintenance of buildings and outdoor facilities
- Running the laboratory workshop
- Ensuring the operational readiness, maintenance and cleaning of vehicles
